You cannot not connect.

The other has a strong effect on us, literally. 24/7. It can be scary to realize this, or hard to deal with. But know this :

Connection is the foundation of (human) nature. It is what keeps you alive on many, many levels.

Connection is the only thing that is equally real in all worlds or realities—in every layer of consciousness.

Connection is the First Law. ALL IS ONE. Not sweet spirituality or puffy religion, but pure reality. A reality you cannot walk away from.

So, you cannot not connect.

Just like you cannot not communicate.

Instead of ignoring this, know it.

Instead of judging this, use it.

Instead of fighting this, surf it.

Use it to regulate yourself, and thus your effect on others, and thus your circumstances.

Learn to use your connection and awareness. Learn discernment & choice.

And NEVER EVER underestimate the power of conscious connection.
